Fast Company today announced its annual ranking of the 100 Most Creative People in Business for 2017, honoring an influential and diverse group of leading thinkers from a vast range of global industries, from tech and design to entertainment,media, government and nonprofit, health care, and food. Earning the No. 1 spot on the list this year is James Anderson, head of government innovation programs for Bloomberg Philanthropies. Anderson leads a team that is helping mayors become much more agile, creative, and in partnership mode [with other mayors], he says. “I am obsessed with the notion that cities can serve as distribution networks for ideas that work.”
